## 1. Who we are

This policy explains how Maro Labs, a software studio in South Korea, handles personal information on marolabs.kr and in our apps, Maro Portal and Maro Writer. Contact: founder@marolabs.kr.

## 2. This website

This website is static HTML. It has no sign-up, no forms, and no advertising or tracking scripts. Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic technical request data, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver and protect the site.

## 3. When you email us

If you write to founder@marolabs.kr, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and your message. We use them only to reply to you and to keep a record of our correspondence. We do not sell this information or use it for advertising.

## 4. In our apps

Maro Portal keeps your records in the app's data folder on your own Mac. When you use AI features, requests are sent only to the AI providers you connect (for example Anthropic Claude or OpenAI Codex), and those providers handle that data under their own terms and policies. In Maro Writer, AI drafts join your manuscript only when you adopt them.

## 5. How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to answer you and handle any follow-up, unless the law requires longer. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

## 6. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop using it, by writing to founder@marolabs.kr. We handle requests in line with Korea's Personal Information Protection Act.

## 7. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
